It is a remarkable move.
Denmark has officially announced that COVID 19 vaccines would no longer be allowed for children and young people because the risks outweigh benefits.
According to the Danish Health Authority, “children and young people only very rarely become seriously ill from covid-19 with the omikron variant. Therefore, from 1 July 2022 it will no longer be possible for children and young people under the age of 18 to get the 1st jab, and from 1 September 2022 it will no longer be possible to get the 2nd jab. Quite a few children with a particularly increased risk of a serious course will still have the option of vaccination, after an individual assessment by a doctor.”

The Danish position is gaining attention just as the US Center for Disease Control (CDC) has renewed its recommendation to vaccinate everyone from six months old, stating “Vaccination helps protect children from severe illness, hospitalization, and death from #COVID19.”
