James Webb Space Telescope: The Fun Has Barely Begun

NASA has released 5 images from the $10 billion James Webb Telescope, which it says will revolutionize our understanding of the universe.

“Today the Webb mission is open for business,” NASA astronomer Michelle Thaller said when the images were released. “And this is only the beginning. The best is yet to come.”

The Webb telescope is the successor to the pioneer Hubble Space Telescope and is built more powerfully to reveal finer details and phenomena both near and far.
