Pierre Poilievre pledges to ‘work together where we can’ with Carney govt on trade challenges

Toronto Star: In a wide-ranging speech, in which for the first time he repeatedly named the U.S. president and tackled his adversarial approach to Canada, Poilievre invoked Canada’s deep trading ties and military alliance with the U.S., warned Carney against aligning too closely with China, and set out important markers for the kind of co-operation he is willing to offer.
