Russian court fines Google “2 undecillion rubles” (about $20.6 decillion) for blocking Russian TV YouTube accounts

As reported by Moscow-based news outlet RBC, a Russian court imposed this fine on Google due to the fact that the company did not comply with the requirement to restore the accounts of Russian media on YouTube.

The fine is about $20.6 decillion, a figure many times beyond the world’s GDP.

The court ordered the company to restore access, and until it does so, the penalty is growing daily.
