In an interview with the magazine “National Defense”, the Director of Russia’s Foreign Intelligence Service, Sergei Naryshkin, says Russia wants to accelerate the creation of a Eurasian bloc of power as part of a multipolar world order and this is the only way out of the loop of confrontation and war that has been the crux of America’s strategy for global hegemony:
“Finally, we are witnessing the historic rise of the Eurasian macro-region. Already today it provides the lion’s share of global economic growth. It is in Eurasia that many of the most actively developing non-Western centers of the multipolar world are located. They are united by a common interest in stability and mutually beneficial cooperation on the continent. And the West’s attempts to sow chaos and discord in Eurasia only strengthen the determination of Russia and its regional partners to restore order. It seems that the formation of a Eurasian security architecture is the most meaningful way out of the deadlock of nuclear war, to which the Euro-Atlantic elites, fixated on confrontation, are pushing the world. We know that this vision is shared not only in Asia. This is also understood by the remaining healthy forces in Europe, who, in conditions of total censorship, simply do not yet dare to call a spade a spade.”
