…Those lobbying efforts preceded Trump’s Tuesday night announcement, made hours before 50 per cent tariffs on thousands of Canadian goods were set to take effect, saying he would pause the levies as negotiators from Canada and the U.S. worked out a trade deal.
In that announcement, published to his Truth Social platform, Trump mentioned Keystone XL by name, saying the project “may be awoken from the grave.”…
