EU sanctions Russian cyber spies for years-long hacking

Politico Europe: The European Union on Monday blacklisted members of a Russian intelligence group it said were responsible for spying on and hacking targets across the EU and Ukraine from as early as 2010.

A unit within Russia’s Federal Security Service (FSB) was responsible for directing the activities of the state-backed hacking group Turla, which has targeted governments, critical infrastructure and strategic industries across Europe, the EU’s top diplomat said in a statement
