New York Times: The prime minister of Iraq, who recently visited the White House, carried the proposal to Tehran. The U.S. military said it had begun a 13th consecutive night of strikes on Iran in the early hours of Friday local time…
Iran flew IRGC commanders, missile gear to Yemen’s Houthis, sources say
Four sources familiar with the matter, including two Iranian sources, Yemen’s information minister and a regional security analyst, said Iran transferred the IRGC personnel and military-related equipment on a flight from Tehran to Yemen on July 13, a development that has not been previously reported.

U.S. Stocks Slide as Oil Hits $100, While Tech Selloff Deepens
Brent crude jumped more than 7% to top $100 a barrel after Houthi militants claimed attacks on two Saudi oil tankers attempting to cross the Bab al-Mandeb Strait in the Red Sea, the chokepoint that accounted for roughly 12% of the world’s seaborne oil flows before the Iran war. The move came as oil supply faced simultaneous pressure at three chokepoints: Hormuz, Bab al-Mandeb and the Black Sea, where Ukrainian drone strikes have disrupted Russian and Kazakh oil exports…

The officials described sensitive internal discussions on the condition of anonymity…
House rebukes Trump in vote to restrict his Iran war powers
The US House voted to halt President Donald Trump’s war in Iran absent congressional approval, the latest repudiation by lawmakers of the president’s handling of the conflict.
…The House resolution amounts to a significant rebuke. But even if it passed the Senate, it would not compel the administration to end the war. Concurrent resolutions, which are not presented to the president for signature or veto, lack the force of law…
Trump Says Iran Will Be Held Responsible for Future Houthi Attacks
President Trump said the U.S. would hold Iran responsible for future attacks by Houthi militants after the group fired on two Saudi tankers in the Red Sea, sending oil prices skyrocketing.
“The Houthis are a Surrogate and/or Proxy of Iran, and major military punishment will be inflicted upon Iran and, of course, the Houthis, themselves,” he wrote in a social-media post Thursday…
