Mexico can call Trump’s bluff on Trade

Bloomberg: Since last year, Mexico has become the top destination for duty-free US exports. It had already overtaken China as the largest supplier to the US in 2023, underscoring how rapidly North American supply chains, especially in manufacturing and energy, are integrating. By 2025, Mexico accounted for 15.6% of total US trade through November, more than double China’s 7.5%. Just five years ago, as the treaty was being implemented, China was the US’s leading partner, with nearly 15% of total trade, ahead of both Mexico and Canada.
