Musk: Grok to tell you what to read

In an interview on the All-in Podcast, tech billionaire and owner of the social media platform X, Elon Musk explained how X’s artificial assistant, Grok, will be changed to sift through millions of posts every day to tell you what to read:

“The really big change, which is where Grok literally reads everything that’s posted to the platform. There’s about 100 million posts per day, so it’s 100 million pieces of content per day. I think that’s actually just, maybe just in English. I think it goes beyond that if it’s outside of English.

“So Grok’s gonna, we’re gonna start off reading what Grok thinks are the top 10 million of the 100 million and it will actually read them and understand them and categorize them and match them to users. It’s like this is not a job humans could ever do.

“And then once that is scaling reasonably well, we’ll add the entire 100 million a day. So it’s literally going to read through 100 million things and show you the things that it thinks out of 100 million posts per day. One of the most interesting posts to you.”
