Ontario man found guilty of “common nuisance” for protesting COVID restrictions has charge dropped at appeal hearing

Cullen McDonald, 34, has won a significant legal victory after a Superior Court judge overturned his criminal conviction related to an anti-lockdown protest in St. Catharines while upholding his acquittal in a similar case from Niagara Falls. McDonald, who now lives in Mexico most of the time, flew back to Ontario for the court case.
