Starmer’s resignation is cautionary tale for Carney and Poilievre

Andrew MacDougall/Toronto Star: Carney doesn’t need to worry about Liberal factions, but he does need to execute his vision if he wants to hold on to power. The prime minister talks big, but words without actions are worthless. He needs to deliver. Like Starmer, Carney was elected for who he wasn’t (namely, Poilievre or Justin Trudeau) as much as who he is. He needs to put some domestic wins on the board; then he can make a case for being the right man to continue the journey forward…
