Trump tests China relations with election meddling claims

Washington Post: Declassified documents released by the White House during the address included an intelligence assessment that China obtained voter registration data from 18 states, including personally identifiable information that could have been used to identify voters and analyze public opinion ahead of the U.S. general election.

The partially redacted documents also included details of datasets apparently compiled by Chinese actors, including four databases totaling just under 220 million records. The files indicated the records were collected between 2016 and 2017…
