Trump’s AI push fuels revolt in Maga heartlands

Financial Times: Trump’s advisers — plucked from Silicon Valley and led by AI tsar David Sacks, an investor with close ties to the industry — have warned Republican state legislatures not to pass AI safety bills and challenged claims AI tools will cause widespread job losses or environmental damage.
