Financial Times: Faced with the commercial necessity of making money to justify the lofty valuations now being placed on AI platforms, OpenAI started testing ads on ChatGPT this week.
With advertisers being asked to commit at least $200,000 in spend to appear in results, OpenAI is targeting an ambitious goal of generating billions in revenue this year, according to people close to the company.
