German secret services: “Russian espionage and sabotage are increasing”

The German secret services are warning of increasing Russian activities in Germany. “We are observing aggressive actions by the Russian intelligence services,” said the President of the Federal Office for the Protection of the Constitution (BfV), Thomas Haldenwang, in a public hearing of the Parliamentary Control Committee of the Bundestag. “In particular, Russian espionage and sabotage in Germany is increasing, both qualitatively and quantitatively,” he added.
